Bercy
The Bercy neighborhood, also known as Bercy Village, is a vibrant district located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. It is situated on the eastern side of the city. One of the highlights of the Bercy neighborhood is the Bercy Village, a former wine market dating back to the 19th century, which has been transformed into a charming pedestrian area filled with shops, restaurants, and cafes. The historic architecture of the former warehouses has been preserved, giving the area a unique and picturesque atmosphere. Another prominent feature of the neighborhood is the AccorHotels Arena (formerly known as Bercy Arena), one of Paris's largest concert and sports venues, hosting various events, including concerts, basketball games, and ice skating shows. It is also home to the Ministry of Finance, which adds a touch of grandeur to the area with its impressive buildings. Bercy area is well-connected in terms of transportation, with the Bercy metro station (lines 6 & 14), and Gare de Lyon providing easy access to other parts of the city.
